SEVEN NERAZZURRI, SEVEN NATIONS: INTER MILAN STARS HEADED TO THE 2026 WORLD CUP

This summer's World Cup will feel a little more familiar to Inter Academy Rockers players and families — seven Inter Milan first-teamers are heading to the tournament, representing seven different countries on the sport's biggest stage.

Leading the group is captain Lautaro Martínez (Argentina), whose partnership up top with Marcus Thuram (France) has been one of the most feared attacking combinations in Europe. Alongside them: Manuel Akanji (Switzerland), Denzel Dumfries (Netherlands), Hakan Çalhano&gcaron;lu (Türkiye), and Ange-Yoan Bonny (Ivory Coast) — a group that spans four different continents of footballing style and identity.

The name most worth watching for our Academy players, though, might be Petar Sucic (Croatia). Still just breaking through at Inter, Sucic's rise from promising young midfielder to a first-team regular — and now a World Cup squad member — is exactly the kind of pathway we talk about with our own players every week. Talent plus reps plus the right environment adds up.

For a program built on Inter's methodology, watching seven Nerazzurri chase World Cup glory this summer is more than fandom — it's a reminder of the standard our players are being developed toward. Same badge, same values, much bigger stage.
