Inter Academy Rockers welcomed a piece of Nerazzurri history to Orange County this June, as Inter legend Giuseppe Baresi joined two days of celebration and development with our Academy family.
The weekend opened on June 19 with a gala evening organized alongside the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce West, bringing together club leadership, community partners, and supporters of the Inter Academy Rockers project. President Behdad Analui joined the celebration, marking another milestone in a partnership that has grown quickly since the Academy's launch in 2024.
The following day, the focus turned to the pitch. More than 100 young players took part in a training session at Santa Ana Stadium, with Baresi stepping onto the field alongside Academy staff to work directly with the kids — sharing not just technique, but the passion and identity that come with wearing the Nerazzurri crest.
For a program that has grown to roughly 220 registered players in just two years, moments like these are a reminder of what the Inter partnership is really about: connecting Orange County families to a global football culture, and giving young players a direct link to the values and standards of one of the world's great clubs.
It's the latest chapter in a relationship that has already included camps at the Great Park Sports Complex and a training session with Inter's first team during the club's 2025 FIFA Club World Cup visit. As Inter Academy Rockers continues to grow, so does the connection between Orange County and Milan.
